    A thumbs up to success

He now weighs what he did 20 years ago.

Gregg began his journey to become Lean for Life on March 27th.

    This is what he said:

I'm Gregg and I want to lose 85 pounds.

I've put on weight over the years and am at a point now at age 46 where I realize I can no longer stay on this path and remain healthy and active. I know if I do not fix this now, my quality of life will continue to deteriorate.

I have had mixed success with weight loss in the past, but the end result has always been that I go back to my old habits.

The Lean for Life program will jump start me into the weight loss and will teach me how to keep it off.

    Now, ten weeks later...

I’ve lost 40 pounds. My family and friends can’t believe it. They said, "This is the old you!" I feel great. It's changed my life.

What do your friends and family think of your accomplishment?

I'm a humble person so this part of whole process has put me a little bit out of my comfort zone. I have received a lot of attention as a result of my weight loss, everyone tells me that I look great.

Would you recommend this program to others?

Definitely! What I tell them is that if they can follow the instructions and put in the effort for 10 weeks, it just works.

Tell me the reaction you got from your doctor.

I went in for an annual physical just as I was finishing this program and my doctor told me that he wishes all of his patients were like me. My blood work is now well within normal limits and my overall health is great.

How would you compare this to other weight loss programs that you've tried?

I saw a lot of similarities to other programs, but what I liked about this program is that it keeps you accountable. You meet with the clinician twice a week which really keeps you on task.
